Terms & Conditions for Palmyra Stones
1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders made to Palmyra Stones and apply to any written contract for the supply of materials unless agreed otherwise in writing. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you have any questions about your rights, please contact us for clarification. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

2. Order Acceptance & Delivery

Orders must be placed via email, specifying quantity, color, thickness, and any special requirements.

Palmyra Stones reserves the right to refuse orders if goods are unavailable, credit limits are exceeded, or payment has not been cleared.

The customer must inspect goods upon delivery. If goods are damaged, scratched, or bowed, the customer must refuse delivery and notify Palmyra Stones immediately for a replacement. Once delivery is accepted and signed for, it is deemed that the goods were in satisfactory condition.

3. Inspection & Fabrication

Customers are advised to show delivered goods to the end user before fabrication.

Once cut or fabricated, goods are accepted as is, and Palmyra Stones will not be responsible for claims regarding batch, color variation, or size.

Samples are indicative of color and style, but variations may occur in actual products.

4. Returns & Refunds

Goods deemed unsuitable may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they have not been fabricated or damaged.

Returns must be addressed via email, and a restocking fee may apply.

Ownership of all goods remains with Palmyra Stones until payment is received in full.

5. Warranty & Liability

Palmyra Stones provides detailed installation and maintenance guidelines. Failure to follow these voids any warranty.

Warranties apply only to the original purchaser and first installation.

The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper installation, misuse, chemical exposure, scratches, watermarks, or limescale deposits.
-
Cracks occurring due to improper handling, heat exposure, excessive weight, or impact are not covered under warranty.

6. Manufacturing & Installation Guidelines

Avoid cutting right angles directly into slabs. Drill a hole before cutting to prevent cracks.

Overhangs exceeding 300mm are not covered under warranty.

Fabricators must use wet-cutting methods to minimize silica dust exposure and comply with health and safety regulations.

7. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance
By accepting these terms, you permit Palmyra Stones to:

Contact you via email, phone, or post regarding your orders.

Securely store Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as names, addresses, and emails.
-
Retain documentation like invoices and delivery notes.
-
Store data securely, including on backup devices for record-keeping purposes.

8. Health & Safety Information
-
Silica dust from quartz processing can cause lung diseases such as Silicosis.
-
Protective equipment such as dust masks and goggles must be used when handling materials.
